What is the dress code?

The dress code for the wedding and the reception is business casual. Slacks, button-down shirts, collared shirts, dresses, etc., work well. We will be both indoors and outdoors, weather permitting!


Why is there a reception and an after-party? What is the difference?

There is a reception and an after-party because we have limited space at our reception venue. We have decided to use that limited space to host a smaller reception with dinner service for family and family friends starting at 4 PM.

However, we have many more friends who have made a huge difference in our lives, and we would love to celebrate together despite the limited venue capacity. For that reason, we are also hosting an after-party at 7:30 PM. At the after-party, pizza and drinks will be served, and venue facilities such as restrooms (and the dance floor) will be available.

Where should I park? Are there any fees to park?

Free parking is available along Michigan Ave in front of Gillson Park, and on Linden Ave off of Sheridan Road. Both streets are a short walk away from the Lakeview Center. Parking on Michigan Ave is not permitted after 10:30 PM.
The Lakeview Center parking lot has availability for $26 per car.
